The Lines & Letters newsletter has won an Award of Excellence from Communications Concepts, Inc.’s
annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition for corporations and nonprofits! It’s a wonderful honor to be selected from the 1,600 applicants to be one of 17 winners of the Award of Excellence in the Newsletters – Electronic & Email category.
The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is sponsored by Communications Concepts, Inc. The company consults on best practices for publications and communications for corporations and nonprofits. To that end, the corporation publishes Writer’s Web Watch, an online newsletter, which advises on writing, editing, and communication strategies for business professionals. The newsletter has been in circulation since 1984.
The APEX Awards are judged by a panel of communications experts based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communication effectiveness awarded in 100 communication categories. There are 11 major categories (newsletters; magazines, journals & tabloids; annual reports; print media; electronic media; social media; websites; campaigns, programs & plans; writing; design & illustration; and one-of-a-kind publications) for which Grand Awards are presented. Awards of Excellence are offered in these categories and more.
Congratulations to our newsletter editors, Jeanette Evans and Lynn Nickels. With special thanks to Jeanette Evans, for applying to the award on the behalf of the Lines & Letters newsletter!
