Monthly Program Meetings

2018-2019 Program Year

Plans are underway for an exciting 2018-2019 Program Year. Our monthly programs will resume in September. Until then, we hope to see you at one of our summer networking lunches or social events.

2017-2018 Community Awards Banquet and Election

At this exciting event, we will celebrate our achievements from this past year and present awards to our chapter volunteers who have helped us achieve our goals.

This event is a fabulous celebration of your peers’ accomplishments and a great end-of-year celebration for 2017-2018 with NEO STC!

Vote for Next Year’s Officers!

We will also hold our NEO STC chapter election at this event for the following positions:

  • President Candidate: Bob Young
  • Vice President Candidate: Tricia Spayer
  • Secretary Candidate: Lisa Scovern

All voting members may vote for our candidates in person at this banquet on May 17 or by proxy. For each officer position, each voting member may vote for the candidate identified above, or identify a write-in candidate. Any write-in candidate must be a regular, student, or senior member of the NEO STC community to qualify. If we have a quorum of voting members (10% of membership) voting at the May banquet, then the candidate who receives the majority of votes in their respective position will be elected.

If you are unable to attend the May 17 banquet, and would like to vote by proxy instead, please contact Jason Vensel by May 16 to let him know who you are designating as your proxy to attend the banquet and vote in your place.

April NEO STC Meeting

Presentation Topic

Lord of the Manuals: Return of Creativity

A kingdom is not won by the sword alone and a manual is not written by the pen alone. This tale will show you how to use creativity to unite your armies … umm … SMEs and meet the peasants’ … I mean … end-users’ needs through creative means. It’s not magic. It’s an epic adventure of changing your perspective, flipping your questions, and calming your mind.

Presented by Jennifer Yaros.

Jennifer Yaros is the VP of Operations at Radcom, Inc. an instructional design and technical documentation company. She is also the Chief Creativity Officer of BrainSpark, a new product offering from Radcom, Inc.
